Executive Speaker Series: Road to Recovery - Arts & Culture

Webinar
Wednesday, October 28, 2020 (11:00 AM - 12:15 PM) (PDT)
Event Details

Arts and cultural organizations in our region have been hard hit by the economic impacts of COVID-19, since they have been unable to safely perform or gather patrons in their spaces. At the start of the pandemic in March, unemployment claims in the arts and culture sector increased by over 2,000%, and it is estimated that our local organizations will lose tens of millions of dollars this year.

But there is hope ahead, with updated guidance for museum openings and virtual options from arts organizations that are getting creative around their upcoming seasons. Hear from our panel on how they are reimagining their spaces and their performances, and what you can do to support our larger institutions as well as smaller venues and artists.
