The Center for Wooden Boats' 45th Annual Gala & Auction

Connecting Generations - March 20, 2021

We know that it has been far too long since we’ve been able to gather together at The Center for Wooden Boats. Many members of our community have not been able to step onto a boat, push an oar through the water, or breath in that sweet smell of fresh wood shavings in our boatshop. We miss you terribly, but we know we are a resilient community. 

Thanks to your support last year, we raised over $125,000 at our first virtual auction, fueling our ability to continue providing safe and free opportunities to get out on the water with 1,300 participants in our Public Peapod Program, over 625 youth in our camps and field trips, and 1,850 boat rentals in 2020. The significant impacts of COVID-19 may have changed our operations temporarily, but our commitment to preserving and passing on maritime history and knowledge remains steadfast. Our organization has grown so much over the last 45 years, and we need your help to meet our new goal of $125,000 to propel our mission for the next 45 years to come.
