A Day at the Zoo with Tamron!
Come and hang out at the zoo!
Join Glazer's and explore the zoo, capturing images of all the awesome animals at the zoo. We will meet at the West Entrance of the Zoo to have an overview of the outing, provide some tips on photographing the animals, as well provide you with an opportunity to check out some gear from our event partner, Tamron.
Jared Powers, Technical Representative and Ben Hutchinson, from Tamron will be joining us for this outing, providing a selection of lenses for attendees to try. Both of these gentlemen are experienced photographers who have extensive knowledge in the Tamron lens line up and can help you select the best options for this outing!
What to Bring
- Your Camera
- Lens (longer telephoto lenses can be beneficial, 200mm and up!)
- Comfy walking shoes
- Consider a Monopod (to help with stabilization with the longer lenses)

How to Find Us, Where to Park
We will meet at the West Entrance, along Phinney Ave N, near N 55th St.
The Penguin Lot is the closest to this entrance.
If you're taking the bus, Route 5 drops off right here!
Look for Kate! She wears glasses and has long, red curly hair.
Your ticket price includes your ticket into the Zoo, access to loaner gear from Tamron, and three event leaders to help answer questions and provide tips on getting the most of your images during this outing!
