In this immersive event, we will review essential techniques to get started in food photography, utilizing off-camera lighting from Profoto, like the A2.
Learn how small light setups can have a big impact!
Kate will review how to work with the lights, what modifiers to use, and why she will highlight elements of styling, composition, lens selection, and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to photograph staff at The Collective as they create signature cocktails. From there, we will photograph some of their amazing, seasonal menu items.

WHAT TO BRING
- Attendees should bring a mirrorless or DSLR camera with a hot-shoe.
- 1-2 lenses - We recommend one be a little wide in the 20-35 range, and one in the 50-85 range
Experience Level: Camera - Intermediate; Lighting - Beginner
Attendees should have a basic understanding of using manual mode including ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed, and white balance, and how to change these settings on their cameras.
