February 2023 Speaker: Chris Chase, Western Flyer History And Restoration Project

In-person at our Wagner Education Center Sail Loft, and livestreamed via Facebook or Instagram. This is a free event. 

Chris will begin by discussing the famous fishing vessel's history, from her build in Tacoma, WA in 1937 to her voyage in the Sea of Cortez with John Steinbeck and beyond. He will also go into detail about the decision to fully restore the Western Flyer and the journey of rebuilding her over the last 5 years!
